Thank you to NetGalley and Rebellion for the eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review。 Campaigns and Companions is exactly what you expect from a graphic novel about pets playing D&D。 It was perfect。 I’m not a D&D player， but this has honestly convinced me to maybe give it a shot one day， if only so I can mimic some of the pets playing in this。 If you choose to be a complete asshole of a player， the cat has some great advice on how to ruin other peoples campaigns。 The dog is definitely Thank you to NetGalley and Rebellion for the eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review。 Campaigns and Companions is exactly what you expect from a graphic novel about pets playing D&D。 It was perfect。 I’m not a D&D player， but this has honestly convinced me to maybe give it a shot one day， if only so I can mimic some of the pets playing in this。 If you choose to be a complete asshole of a player， the cat has some great advice on how to ruin other peoples campaigns。 The dog is definitely the friend who just wants to enjoy themselves。 The art in this was amazing as well。 As with most graphic novels， the art is kind of the focus， so you expect a lot from it， and I was very pleased with the work within。 They picked the best parts of the campaigns described to illustrate， and it added so much to the experience of reading this。 It was hard not to laugh out loud at some of the illustrations。 if you’re a pet owner， you’d be hard pressed to not get some form of enjoyment out of this。 Even without being a D&D player， I couldn’t help be laugh at how great some of the descriptions were， how apt the art was， and really just how accurate it would be to watch some of our favourite furry friends try to fight monsters or muddle around with some potions。 I can’t recommend this one enough， it was just such a delight to read， and is definitely one of those books I would want to keep as a coffee table book just to flip through whenever I need a good laugh 。。。more

What if your pets played D&D， not with any greater intelligence or saving throws， but just as themselves？This is superb， everything that regular animals would do if they were suddenly presented with the powers of a D&D party， from the cat continually animating the dead mouse so it can kill it again to the Dog diving off a cliff because someone knocked the mages staff over it and it just jumped。。。The artwork is very much in keeping with the current feel of D&D artwork， and while it's not a long b What if your pets played D&D， not with any greater intelligence or saving throws， but just as themselves？This is superb， everything that regular animals would do if they were suddenly presented with the powers of a D&D party， from the cat continually animating the dead mouse so it can kill it again to the Dog diving off a cliff because someone knocked the mages staff over it and it just jumped。。。The artwork is very much in keeping with the current feel of D&D artwork， and while it's not a long book， it's a good laugh， very much in the vein of "Life of the Party" by Travis Hanson， and as such， I recommend it wholeheartedly。 。。。more

This little read has all of the charm and humour you would expect。 With beautiful illustrations and fun writing。Short D&D scenarios are set up by the GM and we can see how different animals would react based on their characteristics。 Of course a dog wouldn’t be able to help but chase a fireball！Loveably fun， this made my heart of stone laugh multiple times and that’s a big compliment！Will be sharing with my friends， both D&D fans and not。 A perfect coffee table read。
